All human beings are born with pearly white teeth, but this teeth whiteness is lost along the years because of bad eating and lifestyle habits, which turns white teeth into yellow or grayish. If you eat certain foods regularly this problem will be even more aggravated.
The tooth contains a layer called the enamel and this layer is sheltered by another transparent layer of protein which is the pellicle. The food we eat on a usual routine attach to the protein pellicle layer, thus creating the stains in your teeth. The following is a list of some of the foods that can cause potential harm to your teeth over time:
- Acid or bitter foods, like some citrus fruits, can origin discoloration of the teeth.
- Too hot or cold liquids might increase tooth sensitivity and can as well cause teeth discoloration.
- Tea and coffee are for sure one of the worst enemies of your white teeth. Also cola, red wine and soy sauce can cause stained teeth.
- Sugar and chocolate if eaten in big amounts can lead to the expansion of destructive bacteria which causes discolored teeth.
- Smoking is also a big enemy of white teeth. Smoking usually causes yellow teeth stains because of the nicotine deposits.
While there are a lot of foods that harm your teeth color, there are also some foods that can in fact stop the development of stains and discoloration. These foods are the best and most economic way to improve the color of your smile without a lot of efforts. The following is a list of foods that make your smile brighter:
- Strawberries: Strawberries is the first on the list, you can simply eat them and they will improve the color of your teeth or you can also rub them on your teeth for better results. To get even better results you can create a homemade tooth paste using strawberries and baking soda. Brush your teeth only twice a week with this combination and make sure you clean your mouth very well after you use it. If you leave the toothpaste acting for long periods of time you might face tooth decay and enamel erosion, so be very careful!!!
- Apple cider vinegar: You can also mix is with baking soda for better results. The vinegar has a very strong bleaching effect.
- Orange peel: The inner part of the orange can be used to brush your teeth and it will make your smile brighter.
- Hard fruits and vegetables: All crunchy vegetables like apples, carrots, pears, celery etc, can help in cleaning the teeth and stop stains as well. These foods include natural fibers which mix with the saliva to help in get rid of all the food particles and the bacteria that cause stains.

I think that with soda better not to try to white your teeth bcz its destroy your teeth enamel and make your teeth sensitive almost to everything. Of course about strawberries I cant tell the same, I mean it will not destroy your enamel but you wouldn’t see big result I know it bcz I tried both
I think its better not to risk with yours teeth better to buy good whitening gel its not so expensive like to go to dentist and not so scary.

I absolutely agree with you John and I think who have doubts at it and afraid to spend moneys on it and didn’t get result nowadays a lot of free trials on this kind of stuff.

I ordered kim kardashian like 2 weeks ago and they took i guess like till 6 dollars not more.
