I bet it makes you wonder what the secret behind that beautiful smile is. We are about to reveal that secret and the methods that involves.
There are 3 options when it comes to teeth whitening. The first one, the expensive option, requires you to go to your dentist and submit to a very expensive laser treatment. The other method consists on using professional whitening products at home. You can easily get free trials of these products and the results are absolutely amazing. The last method is the old “homemade” solution.
Today we will focus on the last method. The natural method.
Teeth whitening with strawberries!
If you research the internet you may be surprised at the number of home remedies for teeth whitening. You’ve probably heard about these teeth whitening methods long time ago, either on TV or even from your own mother. And most of the times, the secret associated with these methods is some kind of fruit! That’s because these fruits contain acids that oxidize the yellow stains from your teeth.
One of those famous fruits is strawberry. A lot of people say that strawberry is the best natural teeth whitener of all. The method is not complex at all: just rub a few strawberries against your teeth and the results are immediate.
Some people also like to mix the strawberry acid with other substances in order to improve the effects. Some of these substances are regular toothpastes and baking soda. Baking soda also works well as teeth whitening agent. If you can’t find any strawberries you can also try orange peel. Once again, all you have to do is rub the orange peel against your teeth.
Another good working method is water mixed with rock salt. Try gargling this mixture for a few weeks and you will see goods results, but not as immediate as fruit acids. By the way, do not use lemon peel or juice. It will damage your teeth enamel.

In order to achieve an amazing smile, one must possess the “white teeth” genes. This means that not everyone is born with perfect pearly teeth. And even those with natural beautiful teeth will have difficulties preserving such a dazzling smile due to natural damages like foods, drinks, medications or even injuries.
Gladly, nowadays it is possible to achieve a perfect white smile. All you need to do is follow the next few steps:
Oral hygiene comes in first place. Always brush and floss your teeth frequently after every meal. This will keep your teeth free from stains.
If your teeth are already damaged by discoloration or stains, you can try on of the various teeth whitening techniques available online and offline. There are plenty of methods to whiten your teeth at home and they are not expensive as an “in-office” treatment which can cost up to 1000$! Depending on your budget you can go for various different methods…
If you suffered any injuries which resulted in chipped or crooked teeth then you should try veneers for light injury cases or dental bonding for worse injuries. These two treatments can miraculously improve the beauty of your smile.
If you never had injuries but you don’t like the shape of your teeth then you should try orthodontic treatments. Dentistry professionals can shape your teeth in order to improve your general appearance.
If you follow the above steps you will FOR SURE achieve the smile that you’ve always dreamed of off, and believe me, it is not as hard as it appears. Remember to stay away from foods and drinks that will stain your teeth. Take care.

Teeth whitening is one of the most successful and harmless procedures to whiten your teeth. However, specific actions are to be maintained and preventive measures must be taken to avoid any accident.
Below you will find a list of preventive measures that should be taken in consideration by everyone before deciding to go forward with teeth whitening treatments.
- Teeth Whitening is not designed for everyone. Children must be safe from whitening their teeth. Their teeth are simply too sensitive and using any whitening products at very tender age is very dangerous.
- The whitening trays must fit in precisely. They are made to protect your gums and mouth by avoiding any escape of irritating substances. The amount of gel used in the trays shouldn’t be excessive. Make sure it will not cover your gums. Always wash your mouth after every teeth whitening treatment.
- Check the concentrations of peroxide solutions on the gel. If you’re using carbamide peroxide, then it should not be more than 22% and if you’re using hydrogen peroxide, then 6.6% is the maximum. If these numbers are exceeded you might experience extra teeth sensitivity.
- Do not go through this procedure (teeth whitening) more than once a year.
- Due to hormonal reasons, teeth whitening is not advised to pregnant women. We are not sure about the implications in these delicate cases.
- In the presence of other dental health problems, such as cavities, fractures etc; other dentistry treatments should be carried out before whitening teeth.
- Teeth whitening will not have any effect on white filling or artificial teeth.
- If you are experiencing sensitivity problems to hot or cold drinks/foods, you should avoid teeth whitening, and start using toothpaste for sensitive teeth.
